Dariusz Biegaj

Dariusz Biegaj is a fine artist and designer who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 1988 specializing in Visual Communication Design. Before that, he completed his education at the High School of Fine Arts in Bielsko Biala. During his studies, he received recognition in various poster competitions, organized his own poster exhibition, and displayed his student artworks in Poland and internationally.

Since then, he has been fully dedicated to ‘pure and applied’ art. He setup a private design company and promoted his designs during multiple interior design exhibitions in Poland, Germany and Italy. He has also been involved in restoration works in Poland, Sweden and Slovakia, whilst his paintings have been displayed in the USA, Poland, Austria, Spain, and Italy.

From 2006, he has lived and worked in Sweden and England, however more recently Niepolomice, Poland became his home and place of work. In his paintings, he mainly captures nature, architecture and people. Acrylic and oil on canvas are his favourite techniques. His artworks are currently part of collections in the USA, Poland, Austria, Belgium, Hungary and the United Kingdom.
